Strangulated transomental hernia: case report and literature review

Internal hernias are a rare cause of acute intestinal obstruction and defined as an incarceration the small bowel through natural or abnormal intra-abdominal orifice. Transomental internal represent 1 to 4% all reported generally observed after age 50years old. Imaging is still interest in diagnosis obstruction, but only 8% transomental would be diagnosed pre-operatively. Their surgical management done urgently, either by laparotomy laparoscopy. We report case patient with occlusive syndrome whose strangulated hernia was per operative.
